Welcome to Kochi

Kochi is the Queen of Arabian Sea. It is cluster of island scattered in the vast blue green expanse of the Vembanad Lake, like stars splattered on the blue skies. The finest natural harbour welcomes you. A blissful cruise through the winding waterways, the weblike Chinese fishing nest, Jewish Synagogue, the DutchPalace, centuries old Churches and Temples await you.

ATHIRAPPALLY-VAZHACHAL : At the entrance to the Sholayar ranges,Athirapa-lly,a 80 feet high waterfall is a popular picnicspot. Just a short drive from Athirapally, Va zhachal a picturesque waterfall is close dense green froests and is a part of the Chalak-kudy river. Athrirappally and Vazhachal are most famous waterfalls of Kerala and favo-urite destinations of tourists.

GURUVAYOOR : Is one of the most sacred and important pilgrim centre of Kerala.Its main attraction is the Sree Krishna Temple. The historic temple is shrouded in mystery. According to belief, the temple is the creation of Guru, the preceptor of the Gods, and Vayu, the God of winds. The eastern nada is the main entrance to the shrine.Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple.

THEKKADY : No trip to Periyar would be complete without a trip into one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, Tekkady is noted for its geomorp-hology, wildlife and scenic beauty. The Periyar Tiger Reserve attracts travelers from allOver the world. 360 sq. km of the 777 sq. km sanctuary is covered by evergreen forests.The 26sq. km. artificiallake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River offers boating facilities. ALAPPUZHA : Also known as the Venice of the East, Alappuzha is famous for its boat races, house boatholidays, beaches marine products and coir industry .

On the seaside is built a large, beautiful memorial dedicated to the Indian philosopher, Swami Vivekananda.

CHERAI BEACH: A beach in the Cherai village of Ernakulam district of Kerala, south India. Cherai is a part of Vypin Island. Cherai Beach is just 30 km from Kochi, the business capital of Kerala and is just 20 km from Cochin International Airport. The 15 km of long golden beach is very clean, shallow, and attracts swimming and sunbathing. Visitors go to the beach during the holidays.

WAYANAD : One of the fourteen districts in Kerala (India), this green paradise is nestled among the mountains of western ghat and is located at a distance of 76 km from the nearest sea-shore of Kozhikode.
